Life with Luke: Jake is Baptized

On a beautiful, if unseasonable 75 degree day in late October, Jake was baptized.

Big thanks to Jeannie and Brendan, his Godparents. You will have a special role in his (and our!) lives and we love you so much.

I feel like the house (and I) are still recovering. It was a busy, and wonderful, but exhausting weekend.

Jake, congrats, buddy. You were a champ, taking your baptism like a stoic little man. We love you so much.

So honored to be a part of Jake's baptism, and the life of the Mangans! He was a stellar baptismal candidate (is that the right phrase? Am I too politicized by the unending commercials re: candidates??) behaving and being adorable throughout it all. Loved his intent scrutiny of the football games with his dad afterwards -- methinks there's many years ahead of that!

22 mos ~ Weaned
21 mos ~ first haircut
20 mos ~ colors and counting to 5
19 months ~ Using the potty!
18 Months ~ Singing the entire alphabet

14 Mos~ Walking backwards, jumping
