Christmas began

Christmas began on Thursday afternoon when Grandma and Grandpa arrived laden with gifts for the kids. They woke up from their naps to find that not only had their much loved Grandparents arrived, but they arrived carrying the first gust of Christmas in their wings!

Luke and Jules and Jake loved both their gifts, and their time spent with Grandma and Grandpa. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful Grandparents!

This is all coming in installments as Nate may divorce me for my love of my new Kindle, and my obsession with the series of books that I simply cannot put down.

Grandma and Grandpa, we love you so much and are so lucky to have you in our lives!

Um yeah, someone was up till 4 playing with a Kindle when she had to be up at 7:30.

Luke's Milestones

3 writing and identifying his name
32 months ~ dressing and undressing himself
29 months ~ potty trained
26 mos ~ singing the alphabet.
26 mos ~ Singing songs, "reading" books to himself or to Julia
Almost 2 ~ No more crib, bed only
23 Months ~ Knows all of the letters of the Alphabet
22 Mos~ Knows primary colors, some letters, some numbers. Using 3 word sentences.
20 Mos ~ The whole "pee'd in potty" thing several times a day
18 Mos ~ First Sentence "I did it!"
15 months ~ Entirely self feeding with a spoon/fork

6 Months 1 week ~ Pulling to standing
6 months ~ Crawling!
5.5 Months ~ getting into a seated position unassisted
5 Months ~ First Solids
4 Months ~ sitting up
14 ~ Weeks Laughing out Loud
14 weeks~ Rolled from Back to Front
7 weeks ~ Rolled from front to back
6 weeks ~ Smiles!

Julia's Milestones

30 months ~ dressing and undressing herself
28 mos~ Moved to her bed
27 months ~ diaper free overnight
23 months ~ Potty Trained!
22 mos ~ Identifies all of the letters of the alphabet and counting to 10 or beyond
22 mos ~ Weaned
21 mos ~ first haircut
20 mos ~ colors and counting to 5
19 months ~ Using the potty!
18 Months ~ Singing the entire alphabet
16 mos, four word sentences

14 Mos~ Walking backwards, jumping

6 months, 3 weeks ~ First tooth
6 mos~ pulling to stand, getting into a seated position from a crawl
